Overview

Valiant Lady was the second ship in the Virgin Voyages fleet, entering service in March 2022 with a maiden voyage from Portsmouth to Zeebrugge. She is structurally identical to Scarlet Lady - same 110,000 gross tons, same 2,770 passenger capacity, same 20-plus restaurants with no buffet and no main dining room. If you have sailed one, you know the layout of the other.

Where Valiant Lady differs is in deployment. She has become the fleet's European workhorse, spending summers based out of Barcelona running Mediterranean itineraries and repositioning to Miami or San Juan for Caribbean seasons. She also handles the annual Comedy Fest sailing and occasional Northern European runs from Portsmouth, including Canary Islands voyages and an Iceland departure scheduled for summer 2026.

For practical purposes, choosing between Valiant Lady and Scarlet Lady comes down to where and when you want to sail, not what the ship offers. The onboard experience - dining, entertainment, cabin layout, included amenities - is the same across both ships.
