The restaurant features striking interior design by Tom Dixon, who also created the Rockstar Suites and Richard's Rooftop. The entrance showcases an Instagram-worthy light tunnel with fixtures resembling vintage camera flashes.

Inside, vibrant jewel-toned colours create an intimate atmosphere. The space accommodates various party sizes through low booths along windows, banquette seating for couples, and high-top tables for larger groups.

My Review

Pink Agave was one of those restaurants where I had two quite different experiences across two visits.

A bowl of sweetcorn with cheese and other flavours

Chicken Enchiladas topped with a green mole sauce

The enchiladas verde impressed on the first night -- the sauce was bright and flavourful, though the presentation was fairly unremarkable. The roasted corn (esquites) hit the right balance of aioli and lime. The ribeye was beautifully cooked but came with a heavy layer of melted cheese on top that made it richer than expected.

On my second visit, the pacing was slower and some dishes didn't land as well. The guacamole was solid but unremarkable. The duck was well-prepared but the yam puree underneath was too sweet for my taste.

The chocolate tacos were a highlight both times -- crispy shell, rich filling, and just the right amount of sweetness.

Service was consistently friendly and attentive. The tequila and mezcal cocktail menu is well worth exploring if you're into agave spirits.
